SHAKESPEARE'S STEED
SHAKESPEARE'S STEED

    The original was first created as and Acrylic on textured Canvas.  Nancy?s extensive technical training in classical art has combined with her love of horses and literature to create this magnificent equestrian ideal.

This Shakespeare Poem is Included on the Print:

Sometimes he scuds far off,

    And there he stares

Anon he starts at stirring of a feather

To bid the wind a base he now prepares

An whe?r he run or fly

    They know not whether;

For through his mane and tail

     The high wind sings,

Fanning the hairs, who wave like

     Feath?red wings.

The final Giclee was printed in Nancy's own studio with the rich texture of time tested archival inks that will last for generations on either archival 100% cotton rag or archival water resistant canvas. Nancy, and her husband Bruce take extra care to make sure each print consistently captures the tonal quality and rich texture of the original.
